የግብርና ጥራትና ደህነት ባለስልጣን በ2017 የበጀት አመት ከመስክና ከመኸር ሰብሎች የጥራት ቁጥጥር ከተደረገበት12,720 ሄ/ር የዘር ማሳና 341,470 ኩ/ል በሚገመት የዘር ምርት ላይ የዘር ጥራት መስፈርትን ደረጃ ያሟላ 12,144.3 ሄ/ር የዘር ማሳና 333,799.3 ኩ/ል ምርት መገኘቱን ባለስልጣኑ አስታወቀ፡፡
